Check

One week from now I will be in San Diego, California.  

Crazy.  

Slowly but surely things are starting to get checked off my to-do list.  I’ve forwarded my mail, paid rent for the summer, and shipped my bike.  The guys at the bike shop packed my bike for me and then I stuffed all sorts of other things into the box so that I wouldn’t have to carry them with me.  I was able to fit my sleeping bag, helmet, shoes, socks, and extra inner tubes into the box.  UPS will deliver all of that to the church where we are staying on Wednesday.  The cost of shipping my bike was not as much as my plane ticket, but it was close enough.  I hope my bike has more leg room than I do on our trip out to San Diego.
